About Me

Hello, I am Nellie

So, a little about me, I recently graduated in Sport and Exercise Therapy with Hons from Leeds Beckett University. Although sport is in the title this is not the only thing that we focus on as our training contains all areas of injury and conditions. I then moved to Skipton after falling involve with the area. 

I was a competitive rower for severn years and loved every second of it from rowing, coxing and coaching. Even having the opportunity to work with many clubs across the country. 

I also have a few different health conditions that affect my body, These are Fibromyalgia, Elhers-Danlos Syndrome, Chronic fatigue syndrome and migraines. This makes me acutely aware of the struggles that come with living with these kinds of conditions. I found it so hard to find a physical therapist that understood the needs I had with these conditions, which made me feel very alone, so I decided to become the sports therapy so no-one would have to feel that way.
